Hardware, Garden, and Christmas Supplies in Arlington, Virginia

This place is just plain awesome. You might pay a few cents more since it's a small local business but it's worth every penny! They are extremely nice and helpful and treat everyone like family.

They have a great selection of painting supplies, screws and nails and they are always more than happy to take your call and confirm they have what you need.

Great hardware store. I've gone there many times for screws, bolts, etc and I've always found what I'm looking for. Staff is super helpful!!

Detailed story: The other day I went by there because my front bumper had lost a bolt and was kind of hanging off of the chassis...didn't know what I needed to fix it. One of the guys there asked me if I needed any help and I told him the situation and without hesitation he guided me outside to show him what I was talking about. He knew exactly what was needed, went back into the store, grabbed an automotive screw, popped it in and boom, problem solved. All of that for 65¢!! Thanks guys!

Hands down, Cherrydale Hardware is the best hardware store in the area. It's no wonder it's a local institution. Every time we walk in, we're greeted by one - if not several - KNOWLEGEABLE staff. Rarely have we been unable to find what we're looking for there. When we havent, they know exactly where we can go to get it. In terms of hardware and paint, it is a night and day experience from going to a Home Depot or Lowes.

What a fantastic hardware store! It reminds of the ones I used to visit with my father when I was little--smells the same and everything. The staff was so friendly and very helpful and found exactly what I needed. It's definitely worth the trip.

Well stocked with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Stopped by this morning to get keys copied and was helped as soon as I walked in. Each staff member was eager to assist every customer that walked in. The keys work and were a totally reasonable price ($2 each). Though I have few hardware needs, Cherrydale would definitely be my first stop in the future.

I am stingy with the fifth star. I give it out here because I love that it still exists, love that you can park right out front, love the fact that they have most things you think a hardware store should in a compact space.

Prices are reasonable and the staff has been helpful and friendly. I am not anti-chain or big box, I just prefer to avoid the Home Depot experience. Thank you, Cherrydale Hardware.
